Progress
  • Chapter 1

    3 Lessons
    • Meeting session 1: November 26, 2026

      • [ ] Explore possibilities for collaboration and resource-sharing between the represented organizations and initiatives.

      • [ ] Follow up with Cobi van Tonder about hosting a potential event or residency in Venice.

      • [ ] Discuss commonalities and partnership opportunities between Chloe's Reforesters space in Brooklyn and Gerrit's Lab for Spatial Esthetics and Sound in Berlin.

    • Meeting session 2: December 17, 2025

      • Clarify the group’s shared purpose, structure, and modes of participation, including how to remain porous and accessible through regular meetings, working groups, and open calls.

      • Identify feasible short-term collaborations and longer-term initiatives, such as micro-residencies, shared commissions, or distributed programs, alongside institutional contributions that support the ecosystem.

      • Propose the development of one shared project for 2026.

    • Meeting session 3: January 16, 2026

      • The meeting explored ways for spatial sound studios to collaborate without travel or standardization. Participants proposed circulating short listening studies, impulse responses, and system translations between spaces, emphasizing process, shared resources, and translation as groundwork for future projects and funding.
